This notice explains the small amount of data BizOS (bizos.jonnyai.co.uk) stores on your device. The short version: we use only what is strictly necessary to sign you in and remember your display preference. We do not run advertising, and we do not use any third-party analytics or cross-site tracking cookies.
1. Strictly necessary cookies
When you sign in, our authentication provider (Supabase) sets secure session cookies so the Service knows you are logged in as you move between pages, and can keep that session safe. These cookies are essential — the app cannot work without them — so under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations they do not require a consent banner. They are not used to profile you or to advertise.
- Authentication / session — keep you signed in and protect the session. Cleared when you sign out or when they expire.
2. Preferences (local storage)
Your light/dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) under the key bizos-theme, so the interface opens the way you left it. It never leaves your device and is not sent to us.
3. What we do not use
No advertising cookies, no third-party analytics trackers (such as Google Analytics), and no cross-site or social-media tracking pixels. Because we set only strictly-necessary cookies, there is no consent pop-up to accept or reject.
4. Cookies a business adds to its own workspace
If a business embeds its own tools or links in its BizOS workspace, those third parties may set their own cookies, for which that business is responsible as controller. That is separate from the platform cookies described here.
5. Managing cookies
You can view and delete cookies at any time through your browser settings, and block them entirely. Note that blocking or clearing our authentication cookies will sign you out and prevent you from using the Service, since they are essential to it.
6. Changes
We will update this notice if our use of cookies changes, and post the revised version here with a new effective date.
